The Golf d’Opio Valbonne, located between Cannes, Nice, and Grasse, has recently been awarded the prestigious Silver Label of the Golf program by the French Golf Federation for Biodiversity under the auspices of the National Museum of Natural History for its commitment to biodiversity. The Golf d’Opio Valbonne continues its efforts by implementing various strategies aimed at limiting and monitoring the spread of invasive exotic species, such as bamboo or Florida turtles.
The Golf d’Opio Valbonne is working on important points, such as:

  • the installation of small wildlife escape routes at water points
  • the conservation of a developed herbaceous layer along watercourses and under tree alignments
