The Golf d'Opio Valbonne, located between Cannes, Nice, and Grasse, has recently been awarded the prestigious Silver Label of the Golf program by the French Golf Federation for Biodiversity under the aegis of the National Museum of Natural History for its commitment to biodiversity. Indeed, the club has implemented a series of concrete actions aimed at improving the knowledge, management, and conservation of biodiversity.
The Nature & Golf event was held at the Opio-Valbonne Golf Club on 26 June. Hosted by its Director, Guillaume Verney-Carron, and other local speakers, the aim of the day was to raise awareness of all the actions undertaken by the golf course, which are still little-known, to promote sustainable development and respect for biodiversity.
