Certifications in favor of the ecological transition
The ecological transition is at the heart of concerns at Golf d’Opio Valbonne. Combining respect for nature, regulatory constraints, and economic challenges is a challenge we have been committed to on a daily basis for several years now. Thanks to this work, and the commitments made around three pillars: water management, biodiversity preservation, and product usage, we receive certifications that are a wonderful recognition and testify to our commitment.
Silver Label of the Golf program of the French Golf Federation
The Golf d’Opio Valbonne has been awarded the prestigious Silver Label of the Golf program by the French Golf Federation for Biodiversity under the aegis of the National Museum of Natural History for its commitment to biodiversity. Indeed, the club has implemented a series of concrete actions such as:
- Conservation of centenary trees
- Installation of substitute micro-habitats
- Preservation of wildlife and flora
- Implementation of dedicated events and materials
From collaboration with various public institutions to the creation of diverse micro-habitats, including the preservation of remarkable trees, the Golf d’Opio Valbonne is making every effort to preserve the biodiversity of this jewel of the Riviera.
